ONEgeneration and the Encino Farmers Market
were founded by Volunteers! 
Volunteers continue to support our market...please join us.

You do not need to sign-up in advance to volunteer. 
Simply show up by 7am. Volunteers are accepted based on availability.

Volunteers over the age of 14 are welcome to join us any Sunday from 7am to 1pm. (no partial shifts)
When you arrive in the parking lot you will see a structure over the entrance gate to sign-in.  There will be a Volunteer Captain there to greet you and help you sign-in, get a nametag and take you to your position for the day. 
What do volunteers at the market do?
  • Help greet the community at an entrance gate and offer information about ONEgeneration and our market
  • Assist at the Book Booth (a great way for book lovers to organize the books and help others find what they are looking for
  • Help in the Bagel Booth
  • Assist small businesses and farmers for the day - learn about fruits, veggies and flowers
Community Service
and Student Volunteers:
Volunteers sign-out at 1pm and have the option of receiving a completion letter for their day/s of service. 
There are no partial shifts, volunteers are expected to help from 7am to 1pm and will receive a letter of completion for 6 hours.  Volunteers who leave early will not receive a letter.
